Dear Parents,
Please help your child review or learn the following recitations for the Christmas service on the evening of December 19. We have been working on learning these items at school but the children could use some extra practice.
Thank you so much.
In Christ,

Early Childhood Christmas Service Recitations for Kindergarten

Come and see our Jesus Tree
And hear our story true.
It tells us of the Christmas love
That Jesus has for you.

She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
(To the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)
Twinkle, twinkle, gifts they'd bring,
That they chose for Christ their King.
Gold, and myrrh, and incense too,
Loving hearts so kind and true,
Twinkle, twinkle, gifts they'd bring,
That they chose for Christ their King.

Jesus said, ''I am the Good Shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. My sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow me.

It's a crown!

Manger Bed
Twas on a still, dark night,
So very long ago.
Mary and Joseph with hearts aglow
Looked on the blessed Babe
A prayer of thanks was said,
As they knelt before the manger bed
Bring Him a crown,
A crown for His head;
Worship the King lying in that manger bed.

Twas on a still, dark night,
The skies all filled with mirth.
Angels announced the Savior's birth.
The shepherds filled with awe,
To Bethlehem they sped,
And they knelt before the manger bed.
Bring Him a crown,
A crown for His head;
Worship the King lying in that manger bed.

And on this still, dark night,
We come before You now.
Hearts full of faith our heads we bow,
With love complete
And by the Spirit led
As we knell before your manger bed
Bring Him a crown,
A crown for His head;
Worship the King lying in that manger bed.

So now you've seen our Jesus Tree
The story has an end.
For Jesus is our Christmas gift,
Our Savior, and our Friend
