Word of God: God Saves Adam and Eve Cain’s Sin and God’s Love Memory Treasure: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. John 3:16 Literacy: We will be working on the letter Cc and meet our first Superkid Cass. Cass loves to cook and has a pet cat named Coconut. Math: Our first unit is working with the numbers 0-5. We will also begin using our math journals. This is a wonderful tool that helps students see thier progress. Theme Study: We will complete our look at Jack and the Beanstalk.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! This week’s news: The first week of school has been great. The Fairy God-teacher came to visit on the first day. She might visit the class again sometime. It has been fun to watch the students become reaquainted with old friends and meet new friends. The students took the literacy readiness test, wrote their names, drew pictures of what they would look like if they where Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and worked on their coloring skills.
