Word of God: God Answers Abraham’s Prayer for a Son Abraham Offers Isaac Memory Treasure: Ask and it will be given to you. Matthew 7:7 Literacy: We are working on the letter “Oo”. Just so you know, the cat like creature in our homework assignments is an ocelot. Math: We will be working with the numerals to 10. Theme Study: Now that we have seen how a seed begins to grow into a plant we are going to attempt to grow our own bean stalks. I wonder if we will get any beans to eat. That would be awesome!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! This week’s news: Each student has been paired with an older student as their “buddie”. Throughout the school year the buddies will do different projects together, sit next to each other during chapel, eat together on hot lunch days, and much more. Ask your child about his/her buddie. Pictures of the buddies will be posted in the hallway for family fun night. Please have your child dress in old clothes tomorrow September 11. We will be working with dirt and I don’t want their good clothes to get ruined.
